He was predeceased by: his parents, Zenus Burma and Hazel Burma; and his siblings, Mervin, Joanne and Jean.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Bauer; his brother Harry; and his children, Lance Burma (Julie), Craig Burma, Vickie Lehman (Charles) and Lori Ahlberg (Andy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
