She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Peterson and Marie Peterson (Hynding); her husband Walter Betcher; and her granddaughter Brenda Diercks. She is survived by: her children, Janet Eastman (Chet) of Cameron, WI, Marv Betcher (Jaci) of Vermillion, Joyce Poole (Mike) of Red Wing, Marilyn Lawrence (Chuck) of Le Center, Wayne Betcher (Cindy) of Welch, Sue Ide (Jim Turek) of Hastings and Bob Betcher (Sue) of Hastings. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church.
