She was predeceased by: her siblings, Burton Smith, Nyra Bannitt, Lyle Smith, Roger Smith and Jerrol "Popper" Smith; her half-sister Kathy Gronquist; and her stepfather James Holden, Sr..
She is survived by: her husband Dave; her siblings, Curtis Smith (Nancy), Everett Smith (Carolyn), Lee Smith (Cheryl), Kenny Smith (Shelly), Jeanelle Fosberg, Bev Radel and Barb Gernentz (Ron); her half-brother Kevin Smith (Amy); and her siblings-in-law, Kelly Smith, Joyce Smith and Dennis Hinck. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
