With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Simanski Jr. of Red Wing, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his father John Simanski; and his grandfathers, Lloyd Hubbard (Donna) and Oliver Simanski (Joyce). He is survived by: his mother Juleanne Von Bargen (Larry); his sister Jodie Chaves (Tony Gilles); his niece Katie Otten; his girlfriend Sheree Bewick; and his stepsiblings, Gina Schorn, Todd Von Bargen, Tracey Von Bargen and Tim Von Bargen. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar Bodelson-Mahn Chapel (602 Plum St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
