He was predeceased by: his siblings, Duane, Eldon, Leon and Marie Hinsch; his siblings-in-law, Joan Hinsch, Joann Hilan, Lavern Witt, Donald Thomforde and Arlen Sorenson; and his parents-in-law, Leonard and Myrtle Hilan.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Hilan; his children, Jonathon and Janeen Immerfall (Blake); his granddaughters, Stephanie Scibora (Tom), Megan Osterhaus (Andy), Christina Hill (Pat) and Dr. Mallory Charging (Matt); his great grandchildren, Liam, Sophia Scibora, Ethan, Ella Osterhaus, Theodore "Teddy" Hill, Kellan and Isla Charging; his sisters, Karen Rebischke (Wayne) and Dorothy Sorenson; and his siblings-in-law, Kaye Hinsch, Phyllis Witt, Shirley Thomforde and Roger Hilan (Elaine). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren and was truly a child.
