He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren and Lila; and his uncle Roy Black. He is survived by: his wife Laura Loose of Red Wing; his children, Jerome Black (Gitl) of Oregon, Michael Black of Washington, Crystal Nelson (Chris) of Red Wing and Cayla Dankers (Rob) of Red Wing; his grandchildren, Faith, Lila, Daniel, Danica, Jerica, Christian, Isaac, Carson and Natalie; his great grandchild Jasper; and his siblings, Sandy Humphrey (John) of Woodbury, Sharlene Gish (Barry) of Woodbury and Jim Black (Yvonne) of Red Wing. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
