He was predeceased by: his wife Ane Mae; and his siblings, June Fick, Bob Burmester and Mary Sanford. He is survived by: his children, Alan Novek (Cathleen) of Frontenac, Rex Novek (Barb) of Red Wing, Barry Novek (Connie) of Red Wing, Wanda Novek of Colorado Springs, CO and Sandy Zimmermann (Mike) of Red Wing; his siblings, Richard Burmester of Wabasha, Donald Burmester of St. Charles and Joanne Bundy (Ervin) of Red Wing; and his sister-in-law Mary Christensen of Red Wing. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
