She was predeceased by: her parents, John Strusz and Lydia Strusz (Bremer); her husband Luvern Alms; her granddaughter Tara Carlson; and her siblings, Luvern Strusz (Irene), Marvin Strusz (Mary Jo), Helen Eppen (Harris) and Doris Rusch.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Oelkers (Henry) of Sheldon, Wisc, Bruce Alms (Brenda) of Belvidere and Sue Thomforde (Mark) of Goodhue; her grandchildren, Pam Siudak, Brian Oelkers, Chris Alms, Kristi Rossman, Travis Thomforde, Jerod Thomforde and Ellie Diercks; her great grandchildren, Jenny, Katie, Kayla, Colton, Logan, Brandon, Justin, Olivia, Grace, Emma, Libby, Natalie, Ethan, Julia, Noah and Evan; her great great grandchildren, Rylee and Brinley; her sisters, Elaine Diercks and Janice Stieg (Dennis); and her brother-in-law Elroy Rusch.
