She was predeceased by: her son Ryan Krause; and her sister-in-law Teresa Krause. She is survived by: her husband Scott Krause of Stockholm; her children, Kate Krause of Stockholm, Cory Krause (Martha) of Hudson and Sean Krause of River Falls, Wisc.; her granddaughter Evelyn; her siblings, Pam Prochaska (Tim) of Red Wing and Dwight Diercks (Dian) of Saratoga, Calif.; her nieces and nephews, Annie Toninato (Alex), Jack Gorman (Ellen), Sarah Gorman, Emma Gorman (Mason), Matt Stehr, Tyler Stehr (Emilee), Joey Stehr and Noah Krause; her parents-in-law, Ed and Lois Krause; and her siblings-in-law, Lisa Stehr (Mark), Steven Krause and Tom Krause (Angela). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Memorials are preferred to Kate's college fund.
