It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Larson of Red Wing, Minnesota, born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Larson and Emma Larson (Spangrud); his wife Beatrice Skogstad; and his siblings, Otis Larson and Phyllis Smith.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Sara, Robert, Robert, Jr., Jennifer Brana of San Diego, CA, Greg, Sandy (Streb) and Annika Larson of Brownsville, TX; his close friend Beverly Hawkenson of Red Wing; his niece Lucille Bjerke of Decorah, IA; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lee Bjerke and Kari Pollock; his brother-in-law Richard Skogstad of Kenosha, WI; his nephew Scott Skogstad; his niece Karen Kiersting; and also Anne Larson of New Lisbon, WI.
