It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Neff of Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Douglas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Douglas. Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Neff and Sharon Neff; and his half-brother Elden Passard. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Smith (Mann); his children, Luke Neff of Hermosa, SD and Sarah Scott (Cory) of Custer, SD; and his stepchildren, Stephanie Lagrande of Rapid City, SD, Virginia Wickersham of Michigan, Jeffrey Smith (Carol) of Red Wing, David Smith (Diane) of Red Wing and Michelle Smith of Lake City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mahn Family Funeral Home - Larson Chapel (602 Plum St, Red Wing, MN 55066). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lands Lutheran Church (16640 Hwy 60 Blvd, Zumbrota, MN 55992).
