He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Schendel and Helen Wiberg Schendel Sabean; and his brother Michael. He is survived by: his wife Jomarie; his children, Elizabeth of Red Wing, Andrew (Erika) of Cottage Grove, MN, Zachary (Renae) of Minneapolis, MN and Katharine Evans (Peter) of Beavercreek, OH; his sisters, Connie Otteson of Sarasota, FL, Karen Nybo (Robert) of Red Wing and Hope Friese (Steve) of Stewartville, MN; his sister-in-law Charlotte Schendel of Montrose, CO; and his brother Peter (Marilyn) of Helena, MO.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
