He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Getzin and Leone Getzin (Wollweber); his brothers, Jerold and Dave; and his pet Arby.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Behrens-Getzin; his pet Barney; his sister Judith of Austin, MN; his sister-in-law Patty of Wenatchee, WA; his sister Catherine; his brother-in-law Earl Voss; his nephew Erik Voss; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Suzanne, Athena and Shannon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
