Charles Mathiowetz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Mathiowetz of Red Wing, Minnesota, born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, who passed away on August 23, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendelin Mathiowetz and Rose Mathiowetz (Nachreiner); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Lou and Stanley Bastian. He is survived by: his wife Iris Dietz; his children, Keith (Debra Schellin) of Scandinavia, WI and Charlene Dudley (Peter) of Red Wing; his granddaughters, Heide Dudley (Jeff Hochhausen) of Cassville, WI and Inga Dudley of Brownsdale, MN; his brother Robert Mathiowetz (Irene) of Sleepy Eye, MN; and his brother-in-law Daniel Dietz (Bernice) of New Ulm, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Masks are required along with social distancing at the visitation and Mass.
