He is survived by: his wife Nancy Swanson of Red Wing; his children, Sheila Haan (Greg) of Hammond, Sherry Breitung (Jason) of Pepin, Chris Paasch of River Falls and Karrie Danielson (Jeff) of Zumbrota; his grandchildren, Logan, Madyson, Jacob, Taylor, McKenna, McKenzie, Edyn, Reese and Riley; his mother Bernice Haugrose (Bergan) of Red Wing; and his nephew Dennis Stanley of Lake City.

“Nancy, Chris, and Bernice, please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of Bruce. Bruce was about the first person to welcome me when I moved into Perlich Ave. He is remembered fondly by my granddaughter, Tabetha as the man who gave them candy and let them watch TV with him. I will remember the little wave or quick hello when I passed him in church. Bruce showed great strength when overcoming transportation difficulty managing the doorways in both Perlich and here on Pioneer. AND”
