It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce D. Bang of Red Wing, Minnesota, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce D. Bang to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Bang and Harriet Bang (Muhlman); his brother Paul Bang; his parents-in-law, Arthur and Martha "Jane" Funk; and his brother-in-law Tom Farrell.
He is survived by: his wife Marthene Funk of Red Wing; his sons, Shawn Bang (Edwena) of Red Wing and Bjorn Bang (Ann) of Esdaile; his grandchildren, Crissanda Andrist (Ben), Travis Hanson (Caitie Rose), Zoia and Zeke Bang; his brother Robert Bang (Redina) of Ellsworth; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Funk (Maureen), Conrad Funk (Mary), Juliann Holmes (Lee), Laurel Mason and Raynee Farrell. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and several trucking friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellsworth Chapel (587 W Lucas Ln, Ellsworth, WI 54011). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
