He is survived by: his sons, Michael Schafer and Brian Schafer (Teresa); his grandchildren, Paige, Kayla and Rebecca Schafer; his brothers, Larry Schafer (Candace) and Willard Schafer (Barb) of Lakeville, MN; and his nieces and nephews, Lori Schultz (Lyndon), Barry Boutain (Heidi), Carrie Schafer, Jill Schafer, Kathleen Reynolds (Ryan), Matt Schafer (Lyndsey), Angela Schafer and Maribeth Schafer.
