She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Eckstein and Adena Eckstein (Harbott); her husband James Gaven; her son Ricky Gaven; her son-in-law Gary Christensen; her siblings, Roger, Virgil, Robert Eckstein, Fred Eckstein Jr. and Verda Almquist; and her brothers-in-law, Woodrow Almquist and Charles Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Christensen; her grandchildren, Drew, Shannon and Mitchel; and her sister Marion Anderson of Anchorage Ak. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
