Margie Josephson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie Josephson of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Henry Sauer and Luella Margaret Sauer (Rosenquist); her husband Owen John Josephson; her great grandchildren, Elijah Ramsey and Max Ramsey; and her siblings, Florence Wastweet, Evelyn Tibbetts, Mayme Meyer, Lorraine Buck, Marian Bergquist, Clarice Olson-Ricke, Melvin Sauer, Glen Sauer and Kenneth Sauer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Kalbakdalen (Jeff), Red, Janet Casavan (John) of Roseau, MN, Mary Josephson (Brian Backer) of Moorhead, MN and Karen Bembenek (Gregg) of Danville, IN; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ramsey (Tom), Tamara Cudmore (Shawn), Rachel Kalbakdalen, Jessica Franks (Tom), Nicholas Casavan (Casey), Joshua Casavan (Candice), Micah Casavan, Matthew Bembenek, Audrey Bembenek and Sarah Bembenek; her great grandchildren, Makayla Adelman, Zackary Ramsey, Hope Ramsey, Toby Ramsey, Lucas Ramsey, Jaelyn Ramsey, Hazel Ramsey, Blake Rybakowski, Brody Rybakowski, Parker Cudmore, Samara Cox, Madissen Cox, Isaiah Franks, Nehemiah Franks, Aubree Franks, Isaac Franks, Clover Casavan, Chandler Casavan, Culley Casavan, Owen Casavan and Liam Casavan; her great great grandchild Evelyn Maaske; and her brother-in-law Curt Josephson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (1315 6th St NE, Red Lake Falls, MN 56750). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In the recent past, she was content doing her part by simply donating her home canned beet pickles.
