With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Schmidt of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, born in Crookston, Minnesota, who passed away on January 5, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Sauve and Palmire Sauve (Sauve); her husbands, Raymond Schmidt and Chester "Chet" Brown; her son Daniel; her grandson Nathan Schmidt; her great grandchild Kaia Mae Alexander; and her siblings, Agnes and Alfred.

She is survived by: her children, Dean Schmidt (DeeAnn) of Crookston, MN, Peggy Wosick (Richard) of Oslo, MN and Tim Schmidt of Fargo, ND; her grandchildren, Melissa Schmidt, David Schmidt, Michelle Alexander (Jake), Melinda Helseth (Tim), Nathan Hooser, Kramer Schmidt and Dylan Schmidt; her great grandchildren, RaeAnn, Norah, Jude, Averie, Hannah and Gwen; and her brother Jerry Sauve (Marlene). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
