It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Vatthauer of Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, born in McIntosh, Minnesota, who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Johnson and Selma Johnson (Brokke); her husband Clarence Vatthauer of Savior's Lutheran Church; and her brothers, Ray and Roy.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Vatthauer (Cindy) of Seymour, IN, Julie Ford (Terry) of Council Bluffs, IA, Ellen Green Luthi of Superior, WI, David Vatthauer and Bill Vatthauer (Janell) of Crookston, MN; her grandchildren, Tera (Kevin), Missy (Darrin), Aaron (Chelsey), Abby (Brad), Molly, Brooke (Cole) and Travis (Shelby); her great grandchildren, Abe, Dalton, Wyatt, Everett, Mckenzie, Mckayla, Axxel, Charlie, Braxton, Brock, Lyla, Colt, Lennon and Reid; her nephew Ole Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Don Vatthauer, Theresa Vatthauer and Connie Vatthauer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
