He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorn Wavra and Mary Wavra (Steer); his brother Vern Wavra; and his granddaughter Erin Ellefson. He is survived by: his sisters, Darlene and Sharon; his wife Jeanette; and his children, David Wavra (Diane) of Middle River, Jim Wavra Red (Kari), Kathy Pavlish East (John), Greg Wavra Red (Laura), Carol Schmitz Red (Tom), Keith Wavra Red (Connie), Diane Fortmann Erskine (Tim), Christine Nelson Red (Kevin), Shirley Herding Bemidji (Dave), Susan Brummund Red (Lee Fredricks) and John Wavra East (Ashley). He is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 62 great-grandchildren.
