He was predeceased by: his fathers, Arnold Sr. Olson and Mervyn Olson (Ostgaard); his in-law Lester Gutheridge of Crookston, MN; his grandson Joshua Chaput; his brothers, Steve, Gary and Arnold Jr.; his in-laws, Mabel, Rosie, Raymond Gutheridge and Jane Briggs; and his nephews, Steve, Mike and Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Olson; his daughters, Jean Lambert (Derek) and Patty Sorenson (Tory); his grandchildren, Lucas Barge-Gulbranson (Greg), Taren Hasby (Jordan Jagol), Jaye Pyatte, Reese Lambert and Tyler Sorenson; and his great grandchildren, Aubree, Austin and Charlie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
