He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Carrels and Catherine Carrels (Schuth); his daughter Dolores Ann; and his grandson Nathan. He is survived by: his great-grandparent Doris; his wife Roberta; and his children, LeAnn Cook (Richard), Robin Gwaltney (Scott), Rayne Carrels, Doris Luby (Ken) and Wayne Carrels, Jr. (Christine). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
