It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles E McDonald of Reads Landing, Minnesota, born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, who passed away on December 4, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B McDonald and Ruth McDonald (Ostrom); and his siblings, Ralph and Hilma. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Michael McDonald (Jennifer) of Wayzata, MN, Patrick McDonald (Jamie) of Eyota, MN, David McDonald (Connie Carpenter) of Reads Landing, MN, Charles McDonald (Suzette) of Chatfield, MN, Steven McDonald (Beth) of Caledonia, MN and Kathleen Schell (Richard) of Winona, MN; his grandchildren, Emily Robillard, Luke McDonald, Hannah Wegner, Jessica Eggers, Michele Pomeroy, Megan McBride, Ryan McDonald, Owen McDonald and Brendan McDonald; his great grandchildren, Harley Jo Robillard, Hazel Robillard and William McDonald; his brother William McDonald (Paula) of Mazeppa, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene McDonald and Morris Mitteness of Hamilton, MT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other relatives.

The Funeral Mass will be held in the future when restrictions of the pandemic have been lifted.
