He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Ulferts and Alma Ulferts (Slagter); his stepmother Anna Ulferts; and his son Justin Ulferts (Ryan Niemeyer). He is survived by: his former wife Joy Hauser; his wife Jill Ulferts; his children, Kyle "Smiley" Ulferts (Tanya) of Raymond and Ashley Sietsema (Cory) of Clara City; his daughter-in-law Heidi Graves (Nate) of Bunde; his stepchildren, Anthony Levitz (Jen) of New London and Ashley Levitz-Mickels of Raymond; the mother of his children Joy Thissen (Greg) of Clara City; his grandchildren, Benjamin Ulferts (Grace Brewers), Alexis Ulferts, Cayson Graves, Ketcie Ulferts, Keena Ulferts, Kinley Ulferts, Kelaya Ulferts (Sietsema), Noah Sietsema, Brinly Sietsema and Eli Levitz; his great grandchild Payten Ulferts; and his siblings, Jan Boe (Gary), Laura Babcock (Ralph), Curt Ulferts (Vera), Marsha Johnson (Jeff), Renae Allen (Dana) and Tammie Schmiess (Sheldon). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
