We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2020, at the age of 74, Georgianne Sams of Raymond, Minnesota, born in Duluth, Minnesota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Georgianne Sams to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Plys and Anna Plys; her brother Patrick Plys (Laura); her sister-in-law Karen Plys; and her niece Jessica Plys.

She is survived by: her husband Raymond Sams; her sons, Eric (Shannon) and Mark (Jamie); her grandchildren, Chloe, Drew, Chase, Darian and Sienna; and her siblings, James Plys (Karen), Michelle Canan, Peter Plys, Martin Plys (Beverly), Jackie Hall (Gordy), Phyllis Hom (Jack), Charlie Plys (Julie), Paula Brown (Scott) and Alecia Mandal (Robert). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, her family is setting up a scholarship fund to help underprivileged children play sports and be involved in activities.
