He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Carlson (Babock) and Leo Vernon Carlson; his grandson Isaiah; and his brother Jerry. He is survived by: his siblings, Donny, Julie, Kathy, Eugene and Becky; his wife Cheryl L. Holt; his son Joe Carlson (Jessica); and his grandchildren, Tessa, Emma Rose, Isaac, Noah of Leo, Colten, Jeremiah and Katelynn of Joe.
