He was predeceased by: his son Thomas; and his siblings, Roger Lee (Dora) and LaVon Emery (Ken). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Johnston; his children, Dan, Mike (April), Amy and Kevin (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Evan, Kara, Anah, Andrew, Levi, Thomas, Jennifer, Derek and Kinsley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
