He is survived by: his parents, Nicholas Stein and Annette Stein (Langenfeld); his wife Lori Keller; his children, Jessi Swentik (Dan), Nicholas Stein, Katie Schuerman (Jordan) and Melissa Stein; his grandchildren, Tucker, Chase, Hudson, Charlee and Mikki; and his siblings, Linda Weinhandl (Dave), Dale Stein (Arlene) and Sharon Bauer (Leroy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials are preferred to the Hillcrest Cemetery or the Randolph FFA.
