He was predeceased by: his brothers, Walter and John. He is survived by: his spouse Austa Torgerson (Brostuen); his daughter Andrea Alveshere (Don) of Macomb; his grandchildren, Cody, Lachlan and Ciaran; his son Peter Torgerson (Heidi) of Kasson; his grandchildren, Cooper, Cassidy and Alexander; his stepson Marc Torgerson (Debbie) of Gainesville; his stepgrandchildren, Savannah and Aziel; and his siblings, Gordon Torgerson (Cheri), Lenore Darrah, Grace Nichols (Darrol) and Elsie Himes.
