He is survived by: his friends, Daisy, Digger, Sigourney and Margaret; his parents, Doug Gilbertson (Eileen) and Tammy Gilbertson; his siblings, Amy Linnell (Randy) and Aaron Gilbertson (Rachel); his nieces, Adelaide Helgren, Callie Gilbertson, Leah Gilbertson and Linnell; and his brother Adam Gilbertson. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to a perpetual scholarship in David's name through the Friends of Randolph Scholars (Dollars for Scholars) program 501 (c)(3).
