It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Peter Koch (Puposky, Minnesota), who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Koch and Amanda Koch; his former wife Sylvia Schumacher; and his sisters, Eileen and Delores.
He is survived by: his wife Darlyne Koch of Bemidji, MN; his children, Pam Franz of Northfield, MN, Sue Grimm of Bemidji, MN, Annette Iburg of Bemidji, MN, Pat Koch (Kim), Mike Koch (Sherry) of Puposky, MN, Jeff Koch (Rachel) of Puposky, MN and Chad Koch of Mounds View, MN; his stepchildren, Brad Holmgren (Lucy) of Bayard, NM, Lori Holmgren, Rob Holmgren (Lori) of Plymouth, MN and Tricia Holmgren of Bemidji, MN; and his siblings, Dan Koch (Gayle), Phyllis Altendorf and Vanette Koch. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
