He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Welch; his grandchildren, Caleb, Logan, Savannah and Sydney; and his siblings, Leon Kaasa (Julie), David Kaasa (Brandy), Norene Sys (Terry) and Laurie Prince (Leslie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
