She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Beireis and Almeda Beireis (Larson); her son John; her son-in-law Mike Aguilar; and her sister Shirley.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth John Schaefer; her daughter Kathy Aguilar of Eagan; her stepson James Schaefer (Susan) of St. Paul; and her daughter-in-law Deb Schaefer of New Prague. She is also survived by granddaughters and great grandchildren.
