It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Thomas Hei of Prior Lake, Minnesota, born in Plum City, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Hei and Gladys Hei (Seng); his daughter Stacy Hei; and his siblings, Bill (Clarabel), Keith (Nancy), Jim, Ed, Bernie, Gene, Robert Hei and Carol Gritzmaker (Ron).
He is survived by: his children, Sonjia Woodyard (John), Michelle Hansen and Christopher Hei (Andrea); his grandchildren, Taylor, Max, Alex Woodyard, Bryana Hei, Simone Hatfield, Camren Hansen, Joslyn, Nicholas and Rudy Hei; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley, Juanita and Ann Hei. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
