He is survived by: his friend Joel Larson; his wife Jane; his children, Travis Plekkenpol (Chris) and Emily Ihrig (Jason); his grandchildren, Paige (Bryant), Ashley (Daniel), Lili, Jackson, Megan, Jace, Tyler and Nico; his great grandchildren, Mcguire and Maddox; his brothers, Don Engel (Rosie), David Engel (Stacia) and Robert Engel (Jane); and his siblings-in-law, Don Fahrenkamp (Sandy) and Susan Buckles (Rick). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
