With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rhoda Berens of Prior Lake, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Thompson and Rosalie Thompson; her husband Gene (Gene); and her siblings, Marie Young (Morris), Warren Thompson (Agnes), Carol Hanson (Stan) and Gerald Thompson (Chris).
She is survived by: her sons, Doug (Brenda) and Kevin (Geri); and her grandchildren, Lynsay, Jake, Casey and Katelyn. She is also survived by spouses; 6 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Ballard-Sunder Funeral & Cremation (4565 Pleasant St SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lake Lutheran Church (3611 N Berens Rd NW, Prior Lake, MN 55379).
