He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Rooney and Josephine Rooney; his siblings, Kay, Richard, Fran, Joan, Jerry, Pat and John; and his granddaughter Jessica Borchardt.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Rooney; his children, Tim Rooney, Maria Brinkman (Casey), Chris Rooney (Christine) and Missy Hudoba (Bruce); his grandchildren, Alexandra Borchardt (Jake Pofahl), Tony Borchardt (Alissa Larson), Drew Brinkman, Cole Brinkman, Nick Rooney, Morgan Rooney, Jack Hudoba and Charlie Hudoba; his great grandchildren, Georgia and Greyson; and his siblings, Norene, David, Sharon and Daniel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, many relatives and close friends.
