She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Ewers and Mabel Whitlock Ewers; her husband Kenneth Willetts; and her siblings, Nancy Ewers Bundy and Alan Ewers.
She is survived by: her children, David of Richfield, James Willetts (Marti) of Centerville and Jennette Robinson (Phillip) of Prior Lake, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Kristine Eyheralde of Centerville, Michael Willetts (Katja) of Urbandale, Beth Robinson of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Sarah Johnson (Tim) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and her brother George Ewers of Marshalltown, Iowa.. She is also survived by seven great-granddaughters; ten nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the Welcome Home Soldier Monument in Albia.
