He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Bender (David), Charles Holmes (Amanda) and Michael Holmes Martinez (Matthew); his grandchildren, Lauryn, Mason, William, Lucas Bender, Benjamin, Olivia and Aubrey Holmes; his sister Diane Lawrence (Greg); his niece Christine Ehrichs (Matt); and his nephew Benjamin Lawrence. He is also survived by many other cousins, family, and friends.
