It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James DeWayne Nelson of Prior Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Brian; and his parents, Leonard Nelson and Alice Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Werner of Wabasso, MN; his granddaughter Gina McCabe (Andrew); his daughter Gina; his son-in-law Andrew; his grandchildren, Josie, Brynn and Fallon; and his siblings, Alma Holcomb, Doris Boie, Roger Nelson (Joyce), Jeanne Jorgenson, Larry Nelson (Mary), Dianne Henjum (Larry) and Nancy Nelson (Ron).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Feed My Starving Children in Jim's Memory.
