He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johnson and Hazel Johnson (Elmquist); his siblings, Roy Johnson (Lois), Roger Johnson and Deloris "Tusa" Bergman (Dick); and his sister-in-law Joyce Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Grahn; his children, Linda Thurk (Mike) of Emily, LeeAnn Olson (Don) of Two Harbors and Gary Johnson (Barb) of Prior Lake; his grandchildren, Amy Danoff (Ryan), Kevin Thurk (Gina), Christopher Thurk, Laura Karamagi, Anna Eklund, Carley Kokal (Joseph), Travis Johnson (Carrie), Tresa Anderson, Monica Johnson and Katie Johnson; his brother Kenneth Johnson of New London; and his sister-in-law Eula Nestler of Delta Junction, AK. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
