He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Simmering and Adela Simmering; his wife Darlene Grapevine; his children, Jay Simmering (Georgia), Jenny Nelson (Doug) and Jason Simmering (Erin); his grandchildren, Nicholas Nelson (Leslie), Brittany Nelson, Benjamin Nelson, Sasha St. Martin, Anthony Simmering (Margareth), Alexander Simmering, Wyatt Simmering, Jemma Simmering, Brody Simmering and Cashel Simmering; his great grandchildren, Iyanna Chapman, Danai Crimmon and Carter Nelson; and his brother Howard Simmering. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
