He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Amundson and Effie Amundson; his wife Dorothy; his daughter Wendy; and his siblings, Lloyd (Rosalee), Forrest (Norma), Maurice (Margaret), Ellard, Dick (Paula) and MaryEllen Ramey (Cleston).
He is survived by: his children, Robin Holmgren (Brad) of Portland, OR, Sue Amundson (David Largaespada) of Mounds View, Jill Winter (Gerry) of Burnsville and Jay Amundson (Terra) of Mt Vernon, IA; his grandchildren, Joe Holmgren (Kristen), Alyssa Craigie (Matt), Aaron Amundson (Laura), Sam, Anton and Nathan Largaespada; his great grandchildren, Fred Holmgren, Abigail, Elliot Amundson, Lillian and Olin Carrol Craigie; and his sisters-in-law, Pearl Amundson of Edina and Deanie Amundson of Idaho. He is also survived by five children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
