He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Marcus and Jennie Marcus; and his brothers-in-law, Al Dykstra and Larry Sharkey. He is survived by: his children, Gina Ohden (Dan) and Dale Marcus (Jaimie); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Ohden, Lisa Ohden and Sam Ohden; his wife Roxanne of Prinsburg; his siblings, Betty Hoekstra (Henry), Linda Ulferts (Roger), Larry Marcus (Lynn), Doug Marcus (Joyce), Mitchell Marcus (Patricia) and Michael Marcus (Romell); and his siblings-in-law, Clifford Mulder (Helena), Gerald Mulder (Ginny), Viola, DeStigter, Esther Dykstra, Maxine Deneke (George) and Sharon Arndt (Lowell). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Vernon D. Marcus, age 75, of Prinsburg, died Monday evening, Feb. 8, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar due to complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
