It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vern Gort of Prinsburg, Minnesota, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gort and Angie Gort (Hoogeveen); his daughter Lisa Beth; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Ruth Tishler (Landa); and his brother-in-law Roger Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Tishler; his daughters, Sheri Renee (Mark) and Amy Schwietzer (Frederick); his grandchildren, Justin, Kirstin Schweitzer and Ella Larva; his sisters, Janice Smith, Erna Fedders (Gary) and Arlys Westra (Kenneth); his sister-in-law Emily Kerekes (John); and his nieces and nephews, Sebastion and Maddison.
