It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Marcus of Prinsburg, Minnesota, who passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Marcus (Ledeboer) and Frank Marcus; his wife Elaine Ammermann; his siblings, Alice LeCoq, Dick Marcus, Hermina Henderson, Sarah Stob, Herman Marcus, Alfred Marcus, Gerdina Stryker, Florence Tebben, Grace Sportel and Albert Marcus; and his daughter-in-law Janet Marcus.
He is survived by: his sons, Lowell Marcus (Marilyn) of Willmar and Dan Marcus (Liz) of Clara City; his grandchildren, Tessa Erickson (Lance), Jeremy Marcus (Rachel), Jodi Marcus (Ben Asche), Ryan Marcus (Alyssa) and Nick Marcus (Christina); his great grandchildren, Grant Erickson, Caden Erickson, Janessa Erickson, Austin Marcus, Jay Marcus (Kaylee), Brayden Marcus, Remmington Marcus, Dallas Marcus, Elijah Marquardt, Mattea Marquardt, Connor Marcus Teagan Marcus, Beau Marcus and Reagan Marcus; his sister Henrietta Swart; and his sister-in-law Serena Marcus.
