He is survived by: his children, Shirley Van Kley of West Columbia, SC, Alden Van Der Pol of Clara City, Jeryl Van Der Pol of Raymond, Gary Van Der Pol of Atwater, Leon Van Der Pol of Minneapolis, Debra Van Der Pol of Hastings and Randall Van Der Pol of Prinsburg; and his sister-in-law Lenore Marcus of Willmar. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
