He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Trieko Slagter and Jennie Slagter (Ledeboer); his wife Marilyn; his siblings, Geneva Grussing, Alma Stifter (Frank), Elenor Kreps (Gerald), Martha Dykstra (Ed), Karen Taatjes, Sylvia Slagter, Gerald, Harvey, Ted, Stan and Gary Slagter (Barbara); and his great grandchild Hunter Tebben. He was also cherished by his five children and their spouses; fifteen grandchildren and nine in-laws; twetny-one great-grandchildren.
